The IMANI HOUSE Afterschool Program was accepted to partner with/ receive funding from DYCD for another 3-5 years. Under this new grant we will provide services year round.

The Afterschool Program's year-end show will be held on June 8th at 5:45pm at P.S./M.S. 282 located at 180 6th Avenue. The raffle drawing will also be conducted at this event. Please join us!
Join Imani House on June 24th, for our first ever Prospect Park Walk-a-Thon! This is a parent and child event to help bring awareness to childhood obesity, diabetes and other illnesses plaguing communities of color.
Bring your kids, put on those walking shoes and join us! We hope to involve parents more fully in their child's development and health and make such activities fun & family oriented, a staple of their daily lives as common as watching TV. Contact (718) 638-2059 for more information .

As our year draws to a close we would like to thank our parents, staff, supporters and friends for making it all possible. In preparation for the New Year, we still are in need of your support. Remember no contribution is too small.
IMANI HOUSE Liberia recently recieved approval from the Liberian Marketing Association to hold our Adult Literacy classes with-in several Monrovia market places. These new sites will cater mainly to women and girls working in the markets and also provide sewing classes. We plan to start off with two sites, which will provide services for 300 students ( in addition to students already enrolled at our existent Literacy sites). Your support is important to this initiative so please click the donate link at the top left of this page and contribute what you can.
